Set up PayPal for organizer ticket payments

Organizer help

Some events can use PayPal for organizer ticket payments. This allows the buyer ticket payment to go through the organizer payment setup instead of being held by LinkUp.

Before you start

• Use a PayPal account that belongs to the organizer or business.
• Make sure the account can receive payments in the event currency.
• Keep sandbox credentials separate from live credentials.

Setup checklist

1. Open organizer payment settings.
2. Select PayPal when available.
3. Enter the required PayPal client details.
4. Save the settings.
5. Run a small test checkout before promoting the event.

Important

If PayPal is not configured correctly, attendees may be able to pay the LinkUp fee but not complete the organizer ticket payment.
